what is the difference between a Zaffeh and a grand entrance.

A Zaffeh is a vibrant and traditional wedding celebration featuring lively singing and drumming. This service can be provided at the groom’s house, brides house, and the hall. A Grand Entrance, in contrast, is the moment when the bride and groom are introduced to the reception, usually following the hall Zaffeh. This entrance is marked by the powerful beat of large drums and a dynamic sword routine, creating an unforgettable and energetic introduction that sets the tone for the celebration. This can also be customized.

do you perform outside of Canada?

Yes we do!

Which instruments do you use?

We use a wide variety of instruments that harmonize beautifully to enhance our performances. The derbeke, a traditional drum, is a staple in our Zaffehs. The tabl (big drum) is another key instrument, adding depth to our Zaffehs, Grand Entrances, and Dabke shows. To add an extra layer of richness, we incorporate the mazhar, which brings a unique flavor to our Zaffehs. We also offer bagpipes and the mizmar upon request during the booking process, each adding a distinct cultural touch to our Zaffehs when included.
